Seven trims are available: L, LS, LT Cloth, RS, LT Leather, Premier, and High Country. You'll get 18-inch wheels, heated power side mirrors, a rear windshield wiper, all-season tires, dual exhaust, automatic high beams, and tinted windows. Engine
The Traverse's 3.6-liter V-6 engine generates 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Engine stop-and-start technology conserves fuel by preventing idling. The motor stops automatically when you pause in traffic and comes back on when you use the accelerator. When this feature is activated, accessories like the radio keep functioning, however.
Performance
This vehicle provides a smooth, fun, and responsive ride. It comes with an independent suspension, traction control, power steering, active noise cancellation, and electronic stability control. You'll get tow/haul and off-road driving modes, and the Traverse can pull up to 5,000 pounds. It gets 18 mpg in traffic and 27 mpg on the highway, and it can accept E10 fuel with 10% ethanol. A heavy-duty engine cooling system and all-wheel drive are optional.
Interior
