Choose the LTZ trim to take the door handles and body moldings to chrome or the High Country option for 20-inch aluminum wheels and chrome entry steps. Any trim allows you to customize cabin size and bed length. Choose from a double cab or crew cab with a long or short bed.
Engine
Available engines are a 6.0 liter V8 Variable Valve Timing engine and a Duramax 6.6-liter Turbo-Diesel V8 engine. The first choice brings 360 horsepower and 380 pounds per foot of torque and can tow up to 17,400 pounds. The diesel has 445 horsepower and an amazing torque of 910 pounds per foot and tows 18600 pounds. The transmission for the gas-powered engine is an automatic 6 speed, and the diesel comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
This truck was created to work and play hard, and its performance is a reflection of that design. Interior
The cab of this truck is quiet, even with the diesel option, and the cab is created for comfort. There is plenty of room to stretch out in the front seat and the back, especially when you choose the extended size. Lots of storage in the dashboard and around the cabin gives you plenty of room to stash your stuff. Seats are cloth, other than in the High Country trim, which includes leather on the seating. An 8-inch infotainment screen gives you access to information as well as connectivity to smartphones. Safety Features
Standard safety features are front and side airbags and child car seat protection. Lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and parking assistance are features that are optional.
